"This partnership has enabled us to create a Bachelor's degree in real estate and tourism in the Alps, with a focus on Savoie Mont Blanc mountain destinations. It was initiated by Cimalpes and the Compagnie des Alpes, under the aegis of INSEEC.
All the lecturers in this Bachelor's degree are professionals from Cimalpes and the Compagnie des Alpes and work in their respective areas of expertise.
Students leave this bachelor's degree with a legal, technical, commercial and theoretical basis in the fields of real estate, marketing, tourism production and commerce in the broadest sense."
"The objective for the students is to acquire the basics in the above-mentioned fields, but also to meet professionals from different corporations that allow them to access internships or work placements that are often very adapted to their personal skills."
"The challenge for Cimalpes, which operates in high altitude resorts and mountain villages, is eminently human. Recruiting young talent, investing in the future alongside them, training them but also drawing inspiration from them, their knowledge and their youth is part of the Cimalpes DNA.
In choosing INSEEC, Cimalpes has chosen a school that is both open to the world and to the ski resorts, with sports courses (CESNI) and students who are sometimes already familiar with our regions. The proximity of the resorts, the quality of the infrastructure and the affinities established with the teaching and management teams enrich this partnership."
"The courses are organised in two different modules: "Tourism product mix" and "Luxury residential real estate".
I preferred to condense the latter to the autumn because my schedule would obviously not allow me to continue the courses during the winter season when Cimalpes' activity is at its busiest.
And all of this is broken down into 4 days of theoretical courses, 1 day in the field and evaluation sessions."
"Firstly, it's a challenge: developing a syllabus and course materials allows you to gain perspective on your own profession.
Secondly, the pedagogy required is a double-edged sword: for the students and for my company.
Thirdly, meeting talent has often led to successful careers at Cimalpes. Finally, being inspired by the students, their culture and challenging yourself is part of professional life."
