Courchevel: full of sensation

As usual, Courchevel has offered us many new activities this season, and the resort has delighted young and adults!

A new toboggan run "Moriond Racing": 3 km of descent to run with your sled with friends or family! Be the best driver in a race filled with surprises: turns, 8 tunnels, straight lines where you can release the brakes and cross the finish line with your biggest smile!

The weekend of April 21st, the season ended with the event Courchev'ailes, the French national paragliding competition. Thirty paragliders hovered in the beautiful landscape, in a turquoise blue sky and enjoyed an incredible free flight playground! They offered a wonderful show for anyone who looked at the sky.

Meribel & the Olympics

Méribel, a resort that offers beautiful tracks, on which our champions begin thir career ! Méribel has made a point of honor on this year's Olympics!

On the Yeti Park was installed the Yooni Race! In this season of Olympic Games, Méribel wanted to give the opportunity to your children to live the experience as a real champion, the time of a slalom! In real conditions, with timing and video! You will keep a wonderful memory of your children by keeping the video of their Olympic race!

Méribel hosted the French Mogul Skiing Championships on March 24th and 25th. Mogul skiing is a discipline in which the skier expresses his technical skills as well as his acrobatic prowess in making jumps. 50 athletes were in the running for the national title, with the presence of Perrine Lafont (who won the title of Champion of France) right after being an Olympic Champion 2018. Sacha Theocharis was also present at this event, having ended 9th at the Olympics, all the athletes offered us a wonderful moment.

Megeve: Music & Freestyle

The Back to Back event took place on March 1st in Megève. The best French and European skiers and snowboarders were here! The atmosphere is between party and freestyle: music, modules perfectly shaped thanks to the amount of snow fallen this season! It is a real show where you observe incredible figures that make you dizzy! Next year the organiser wishes that the young people of the Megève ski club as well as to the instructors of the ESF would be present at the event so that they will continue the party together. The 3rd edition of the International Jazz Festival in Megève took place over 3 days from March 30th to April 1st. The resort then welcomed different groups and artists well-known in the different styles of Jazz to make the resort dance. A jazz atmosphere blew on the station for 3 days, in the heart of the village, in the streets, in the Palais and even directly on the Megève slopes! So that they could have make you dance wherever you were!

Courchevel & its illuminated sky

Art and Courchevel is a story that has been going on for many years. This year the International Fireworks Festival was held in Courchevel. The association of music and fireworks offered us a magical show filled with emotions and wonder.

The calm of the mountains was awakened, in an illuminated sky, punctuated by the music and the resonance of the fires.

4 teams participated in this festival representing the following nations: Ukraine, Spain, Belgium and France. They each have sublimated the sky of Courchevel, and amazed the public who had the opportunity to vote for his favorite team. This year, Belgium won the competition!

Val d'Isere: between adventure & ski!

Val d'Isère hosted the International Adventure and Discovery Film Festival, from 16th April 16 to 19th. Nearly 8000 spectators went to the screenings of the films. It is an extremely enriching event where you meet directors, explorers, athletes, and travelers! It is an opportunity to discover different visions of the world, cultures, and unknown territories. It represents the state of mind that inhabits mountain people: audacity, courage, and the desire to excel!

For skiing, Val d'Isère organizes since 1981 the Scara: the first major international competition for young people under 14 years and under 16 years. Some of the best skiers who participated to world cups had participated to this race! As a talent revelator, this race is a must for the young skiers! It is a reference competition but also a moment of fun in the heart of the resort followed by a parade of the nations, just like the Olympics and of course, the awards!

The originality of this competition: the winners of the races leave with their cup and their weight in treats, this year they left with kilos of Ferrero chocolates!
