Ranging in altitude from 1,200 to 2,800 meters, Serre Chevalier is a ski resort with a total of 250 km of pistes. Its sheer size makes it one of the largest ski areas in Europe, attracting unsurprisingly large numbers of visitors every year.

In the cooler seasons, you can enjoy 87 ski runs, including 13 black, 29 red, 26 blue and 13 green runs, as well as a few runs suitable for sledges. The ski area has a total of 59 lifts, including the famous cable car that takes you to the slopes at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The snow cover is therefore ideal and very rare are the winters without the white coat that covers the panorama. Serre Chevalier is open to all skiers, from beginners to professionals, allowing families to enjoy a wonderful holiday.

In the warmer seasons, Serre Chevalier also offers several activity centres. Firstly a bike park, with 9 DH tracks, 9 Enduro routes, various X-country circuits but also different areas in the mountains to help beginners learn to ride. A giant 1,100 m zip line is open to all, as well as various hiking trails that are accessible from the lifts, to give you the most beautiful scenery. Various picnic areas have been set up to allow you to enjoy grilled food on the sunniest days, thanks to the planchas installed and freely accessible. For climbing enthusiasts, two via-ferrata are also available and, accompanied by a guide, you can try your hand at mountaineering and climb the rock faces.
