Cimalpes Supports Young High Level Winter Sports Athletes

The Cimalpes mission,

support and guidance for high potential athletes

Supporting high-potential skiers in their sporting career while preparing them for a professional future. The approach of Cimalpes and its Alpine Team is unique today: beyond the financial support (a season is around 25,000 euros) provided by a sponsor, the company is committed to offering much more to its athletes by giving them the opportunity to discover the mountain real estate sector.

Sponsored by world champion Alexis Pinturault, the Cimalpes Alpine Team and its jury have selected eleven talents for the 2022-2023 season who share the same values as Cimalpes: high standards, audacity, passion and determination.

A programme supported by major mountain players

Because anchoring itself in its territory is part of its DNA, Cimalpes brought together a jury made up of eminent mountain players, including skiers Tessa Worley and Ophélie David, Michelin-starred chef Christophe Aribert, Banque de Savoie general manager Nicolas Poughon, Ski Chrono editor-in-chief Laurent Davier, Team sponsor Alexis Pinturault, winner of the 2021 World Cup, as well as Cimalpes' management.

Sportsmen

A multi-disciplinary, equal opportunity team that shares the same values as Cimalpes: high standards, audacity, passion and determination.

High potential athletes who will be mentored by Adrien Théaux, one of the most successful French skiers with 13 World Cup podiums.

Marie Lamure

Marie Lamure

Winners: World Junior Champion in Super Combined 2022, French Vice-Champion in Slalom 2022

His ambitions: Podiums in the European Cup and top 30 in the World Cup.

Granddaughter of Emile Duc, who competed several times against Jean-Claude Killy, a child of Courchevel, she won her first European Slalom Cup at 17. In 2022, she became Junior World Champion in the Super Combined. Her maturity and ambitions seduced the jury.

Alpine Skiing

Loévan Parand

Winners: 3rd overall in European Cup 21/22, Nominal place in World Cup 22/23

His ambitions: Victory in the European Cup, Top 30 in the World Cup

Son of a former snowboard competitor, grandson of instructors, Loévan has a taste for surpassing himself and perseverance. Born in Perpignan, he joined the Pôle France in Albertville at the age of 15. During the winter of 2022, he was twice on the podium in the European Cup and discovered the World Cup. His atypical personality seduced the jury. "I like his humility and determination", underlined Ophélie David.

Alizée Dahon

Alizée Dahon

Winners:  6th at the French Elite Giant Championship 2022

Her ambitions: Top 15 in the European Cup.

In 2016, Alizée joined the Courchevel club after having worked in Font-Romeu. This Montpellier native won the French U21 Giant Champion title this winter. Her motivation and potential convinced the jury.

Diego Orecchioni

Winners: 1 top 10 in European Cup, 5th in French Super Combined Championships 2022

His ambitions: Top 15 in the European Cup.

Originally from Piau-Engaly, a resort in the Hautes Pyrénées, Diego joined the Courchevel club at the age of 15. In 2021, this gifted skier won the title of French champion (U21) in slalom and giant. For Grégory Flon, co-founder of Cimalpes and a great skiing enthusiast, integrating Diego into the team is an obvious choice. "He has risen to a high level very quickly and is committed to being among the elite.

His ambitions: Globe of the overall World Cup ranking.

The jury unanimously voted for this fine figure of ski cross who, three years after a terrible tibia fracture at the PyeongChang Olympics, has managed to return to his best level, by climbing several times on the podium this winter. An example of extraordinary resilience that the 2012 Junior World Champion and 2022 Olympian gives us.
