It is brand new at Val d'Isere!

The best of this 2017/18 Winter novelties in the ski area and the village of Val d'Isere.

Transform water into Snow!

Transform water into Snow!

Snow guarantee! Located between 1800m and more than 3000m of altitude the station of Val d'Isere benefits from a geographical situation ideal for a snow of quality. The altitude of the station which of course plays a major role; the higher it is, the more the precipitation is in the form of snow and not rain, and the less the cast is pronounced.

New: the snow network grows on the bottom of the Santons track until the snow front, for a guaranteed return ski to the feet every day of the season. The natural snowfalls are relayed by the regular interventions of the Atelier de Neige, which is one of the most efficient in Europe.

The role of the snow shop? Transform water into flakes! Billions of flakes composed of 100% water and cold are expelled from snowmakers every season, they can cover up to 40% of the area. This underground installation allows the manufacture of 2500 m3 of snow per hour, in perfect harmony with the environment. It could cover a football stadium with a meter of snow in less than an hour!

This winter, you can visit it! It's free and for all ages!
