Val d'Isère welcomes you from November 24th onwards. Come over to discover the flagship events in the resort for this 2018-2019 season!
There is always something big in Val d'Isère. Festivals, competitions, animations ... there is something for everyone.
On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th at 10am, let’s celebrate the opening of the station properly
it's a favorite haunt of skiing lovers.
From the opening of the resort, Val d'Isère offers for its first weekend to open its tracks to enthusiasts so that they can be the first to enjoy the freshly-packed snow.
Upon the opening of the trails and the event, Val d'Isère welcomes the Ski Force Winter Tour with its many brands to introduce you to the ski and snowboard novelties for free.
The famous Critérium de la première neige and Cimalpes – that sponsors the event - are waiting for you from December 7 to December 16, 2018.
The event, to be set on the weekends, will gather the best skiers in the world.
On the first weekend we will meet Victor Muffat-Jeandet, athlete of the Val d'Isère Sports Club, and one of the 6 best giant slalom racers in the world, on the legendary black trail of Face de Bellevarde.
The next weekend the trail Oreiller-Killy will host the amazing FIS World Cup events for women.

Val d'Isère celebrates Christmas!
From December 22nd, Christmas magic will take hold of the station. You will get to discover Christmas-themed decorations in different places.
Giant sculptures on snow, ice-made Christmas scenes, Christmas balls, Christmas domes, Christmas scene : so many places and scenery to see to soak up this magic.
Feel free to walk the streets of Val d'Isère!
In Val d'Isère, we love skiing but also music.
Accordingly the station hosts the Festival of classical music from January 21st to 24th, 2019.
The musicians will perform in different places in the resort, including the Baroque church of Saint Bernard de Menthon.
Everyone in the resort will love the different atmospheres!
Get your tickets at the Tourist information office on Saturday, or on site before the concert.
Pending the Alpine Ski World Cup, Val d'Isère hosts the Alpine Ski European Cup on January 30th and 31st, 2019.
For two days, you will have the opportunity to see a high level competition featuring athletes from all over the world.
You will also have the chance to meet the champions of tomorrow.
It's the final hurdle of the Alpine Ski World Cup, and a high level competition gathering athletes from all over the world.
