Slide Down the Slope on a Traditional Paret

 

Speed down the slopes with family or friends on a "paret", a traditional one-bladed sledge. At the end of the day, you head up the last chairlift with an instructor to enjoy an exhilarating descent as the sun sets. This activity is open to everyone from ten years and upwards.

Did you know?

From the early 20th Century onwards, children traditionally used the paret to go to school on snowy days.

X-TREME luge

 

This activity offers guaranteed excitement in a beautiful mountain setting as you race down a 700-metre monorail on a small sled. Reach speeds of up to forty-five kilometres an hour on a course  that winds through a magical pine forest, with banked turns, sudden drops and raised bridges. And don't worry, you can also get back up to the top of the course on a sled.

Snowshoes and Biathlon

 

Fancy an athletic challenge? This enjoyable activity combining snowshoeing and target shooting is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Snowshoe Walks

 

The terrain around La Rosière is perfect for snowshoeing. Recharge your batteries, take in the mountain views, and reconnect with nature as you walk through the snow-clad forests and wide valleys of the nearby Vanoise national park.  

Did you know?

At 3,855 metres, the Grande Casse is the highest peak in the Vanoise massif.
